Najibullah Zadran stole the show as Afghanistan overcame Bangladesh by 7 wickets on Tuesday to move to the Asia Cup 2022 Super 4 stage. When Najibullah joined Ibrahim Zadran on the field, Afghanistan was at 62 for 3 and failing to advance against a 128-run target. In order to easily lead Afghanistan to victory, the pair then put together an unbroken 69-run partnership off only 33 balls. Najibullah made a sensational 43 not out off 17 balls, and Ibrahim scored an undefeated 42 from 41 balls.
So In his innings, Najibullah hit one four and six sixes, including a powerful six that put the game to bed. So the moment Najibullah scored the winning runs, the Afghanistan locker room erupted in jubilation. The game looked like it might come down to the wire halfway through the second inning, but Najibullah’s outstanding effort and Ibrahim’s innings helped Afghanistan secure a convincing victory.

Afghanistan restricted Bangladesh to 127 for 7 as a result of the three wickets taken earlier by Rashid Khan and Mujeeb Ur Rahman. Prior to Rashid Khan using it to cause Bangladesh further trouble. By striking three times, Mujeeb Ur Rahman established the tone for Afghanistan.
So Bangladesh might not have even scored a respectable total if it weren’t for Mosaddek Hossain’s 48 not out off 31 balls.
Afghanistan’s reaction struggled to get going and wasn’t successful until the 13th. They continued to lose wickets at predictable intervals. Najibullah and Ibrahim then helped to steady the Afghan ship till Najibullah lost his mind at the very end and ruined Bangladesh’s bowling.
Afghanistan has now prevailed in both of its group stage contests. They became the first group to be eligible for the Super 4 level.
