A day after the BCCI announced his removal, Jasprit Bumrah tweeted that he was “gutted” not to be allowed to play in the 2017 T20 World Cup. I’m devastated that I won’t be participating in this year’s T20 World Cup, he tweeted. But I’m appreciative of the kind wishes, concern, and assistance I’ve received from my loved ones. “As I heal, I’ll be supporting the team throughout their campaign in Australia,” the 28-year-old stated.

The BCCI medical staff has removed Team India’s fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah off the list of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup. So The decision was decided after thorough deliberation and consultation with the professionals. Jasprit Bumrah was initially unable to participate in the current Mastercard 3-match T20I series against South Africa because of a back injury. The BCCI will shortly announce Jasprit Bumrah’s replacement on the squad for the coveted championship. The Indian cricket federation tweeted on Sunday.
