IPL auction 2022 which held in Bengaluru 12th and 13th started with a bang.

Mumbai Indians had a very slow start on Day 1 of the Auction. MI bought only 4 players with 27.85 crores purse left at the end of Day 1 Auction. MI waited for Day 2 of the auction where they had targeted the players they needed.
The limelight of the auction was Ishan Kishan who the most expensive buy at the Auction. MI bought Ishan Kishan at an astonishing price of INR 15.25 crore.
Tim David a Singaporean All-rounder cricketer known for playing various Twenty20 Franchise teams around the globe picked by MI at a rate of INR 8.25 crore.
England Fast Bowler Jofra Archer known for his Pace was picked at a price of INR 8 crore.
South Africa’s U-19 player Dewald Brevis nicknamed as Baby AB de Villiers priced at 3 crore. ‘Baby ABD’ quite popular during recent U-19 World Cup.
Arjun Tendulkar son of most famous and best cricketer Sachin Tendulkar picked at INR 30 lakhs.
