Ruturaj Gaikwad ruled out of Sri Lanka T20s

Ruturaj Gaikwad Indian right-handed batsman ruled out of India vs Sri Lanka T20 series due to injury.

Ruturaj had pain in the right wrist joint so the BCCI medical team checked & stated “He had complained of pain in his right wrist joint ahead of the first T20 in Lucknow on Thursday and was examined”.

MRI scan later conducted showed an injury in the wrist joint. Ruturaj now will head to National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru because of management of his injury.

Since Ruturaj Gaikwad is an important part of squad in CSK team retained for INR 6 crores alongside Ravindra Jadeja, MS Dhoni & Moeen Ali. IPL 2022 season is starting from 26^th March & CSK will be hoping him to be fit ahead of the season.

India vs Srilanka 2nd T20 to be played on 26^th Feb 2022 at Dharamsala, Himachal Pradesh. Mayank is to be joining the T20 squad as a replacement.
