Former South African bowler Dale Steyn lauded Samson after the game and claimed that he might hit sixes similar to Yuvraj Singh.
“As soon as KG (Kagiso Rabada) bowled the no-ball as the penultimate delivery of his over, I asked God not to let this happen. Because you just never know when dealing with someone like Sanju, especially given his physique and degree of conviction. I was astounded by how effortlessly he could break down barriers when I watched him play in the IPL. Particularly in the game’s final two overs Steyn spoke with Star Sports, the host broadcaster, following the game.
